“Gorgeous, simple...with relatable moments and tiny marvels” CBC Radio Music Searchlight

Jessicka's musical journey began as The Tin Man in her high school musical production of The Wizard of Oz. Realising her natural flair for performing, Jessicka relocated to Vancouver from Hope and started indie duo Witch Water. Along with drummer Christian Chaumont she took up the keyboard, singing and song writing positions in the band. After their first live show Jessicka was invited to play Piano Recital 2 alongside Brasstronaut's Edo Van Breeman, Bend Sinister's Dan Moxon and Jody Glenham.

In September 2009 Witch Water recorded a 3 song EP at The Hive studio with Colin Stewart (Black Mountain, The New Pornographers, The Cave Singers). Generating considerable buzz through these recordings, as well as a dynamic live show, they capped off 2010 with a sold out performance at Vancouver Music Waste.

In 2013 Witch Water completed their first full length album at The Hive set for release in Summer 2014. Jessicka has also recently began performing with numerous Vancouver bands including Hunting (Nevado Records) featuring Bradley Ferguson, Jesse Zubot (Dan Mangan,Stars), Paul Rigby (Neko Case) and John Raham (The Be Good Tanyas), and The Gentle Party featuring members of Juno winners Fond of Tigers and Pugs and Crows.

Currently Jessicka is concentrating on solo material, her new single Penniless Fools is available now for download, with the release of a 10 track album of unique piano pop coming in the fall of 2015.
